Our Interest Groups thrive by tapping into the experience, expertise and knowledge acquired by our members over time. Members enjoy contributing to their groups and learning from each other. There are no qualifications required or examinations to sit.

Meetings are held during daylight hours, usually in members’ homes.  Many new friendships are made as we enjoy each other’s company.  Some groups have one volunteer facilitator whilst other groups share this duty. However we stress that this is never compulsory. Nor is there any obligation to offer one’s home as a venue.

A wide range of topics is covered and any member may suggest a topic for an interest group at any time.  At present, our groups can be loosely categorised under the headings of  Creative Arts, Performing Arts, Out and About, Sciences, History and Discussion.

For further information use the menu at the right or the drop-down U3A Groups menu in the black bar at the top of every page on this website.
